Just back in the office after Montreal (4500 attendees – our largest to date). We experienced great service as always from the CCR crew. We have always been impressed with their efficiency and professionalism but this year, they really outdid themselves….who knew we’d have an attendance of 4500?.... but they handled everything in stride. I know I’ve thanked each of them multiple times on-site but I really want you to know that our meeting would be lacking if these two guys were not part of it. I also had a comment from one of our course coordinators that, had it not been for 2 CCR staff, who found a missing box of teaching mannequins that the hotel seemed unable to locate, her course would have been cancelled.

So often times we hear only what went wrong and not what went right. I for one think it’s incredibly important to acknowledge a job well done and am delighted to let you know how impressed I am with CCR Solutions, specifically my dealings with Michael Agard and Andrew Francisco. We hosted Annual General Meeting last night at the Design Exchange and it was an incredible success, in part because of the seamless AV and staging provided by your company. My sincerest thanks to Mike and Andrew for their professionalism, knowledge and accommodating attitudes, it was a real pleasure to work with them. I look forward to working with CCR again in the future.

I just wanted to drop you a line to give my extreme gratitude to one of your employees for helping us out at the University Show last night, Derek was carrying out a basic work order for one of our clients when another client of ours (who had ordered their own AV with another company) hit some extreme difficulties close to the midnight hour, he went way above and beyond his duty to literally save the day, throughout he was courteous and professional knowing what was at stake for our client. The purpose of this e-mail is to provide a commendation to Derek, who went above and beyond his requirements to ensure we had what we needed for a successful booth. I recognize he was under no obligation to assist, but did this for me on his own accord (after authorization from a supervisor). I believe Derek should be recognized for providing excellent customer service in a less than ideal circumstance.

The company I work for hosted a luncheon at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. CCR Solutions was the audio visual company so I had been working with Mark Heubner on organizing all the AV requirements. Prior to the function, we had been communicated via email. He was so efficient in responding to all of my questions. He also ensured that the videos and poster I had sent were loaded on the laptop prior to our rehearsal because I told him I had been having problems with the videos. When I arrived to the event, Mark introduced me to his team, Adrian, Brian, Howard, and Chris. They were all very friendly and helpful, and their professionalism took my stress away. When we were at the rehearsal, it was late, and they had been up since early in the morning. They still put their smiles on and ensured that the event would run smoothly. I would like to take this opportunity to say “thank you” to your team, especially Mark, and I would like you to know how appreciative I was of the excellent service I received from your team. Thank you very much!


The lunch yesterday went very very well, I was actually going to write you a note commenting on how helpful, professional, respectful and friendly your technician is. He would always provide me with any information I needed i.e. would let me know ahead of time that the mic was muted and at what time he would come turn it on for the speaker, ask what my technical needs were to make sure I had all the proper support, etc. – he is excellent. Yesterday was lunch 3/3, therefore I will not need a mic next week. Thank you for checking though, and I will definitely contact you directly next time we host an event there. We recently held its annual national conference in Halifax at the World Trade & Convention Centre.

 As our chosen audiovisual provider, the CCR Solutions team has once again succeeded in delivering a great event. We would like to commend you and your team on their professionalism and the fantastic work that directly contributed to the overall success of our event. >From assisting with a slide show to hands-on assistance for our presenters and last minute changes, your team was equal to every challenge presented. Everything was managed with finesse and grace, and no request was too small or too large. A very special thank you goes to John D’Alessandro, the on-site project manager and the team of Steve Klinck and Faruk Ansari. This on-site team was stellar and managed every last detail and adjustment. It was a pleasure to work with the team once again and we look forward to a continuing partnership with CCR Solutions.

Bill - as usual it was great. This time with a new venue and new challenges and still pulled it off with no problems and of course exceeding our expectations! Brian had to deal with a difficult speaker and we had some video in weird formats and he worked extra hard to pull it all off.

I just wanted to say thanks again for all of your help yesterday, and of course leading up to our event. Mike, please extend my thanks again to the guys on your crew (Keith, Chris, etc). Unfortunately I don’t remember all their names and the person working the audio for the room (who also hung the posters) deserves kudos for being so fantastic. No matter what we needed or asked for, it was met with a “Sure, no problem” which is a really great thing to hear when you’re running in a high-pressure event. Michelle, Kevin and his crew couldn’t have been more helpful. Again, nothing was met with any sort of resistance – everyone seemed happy to help - they even gave me a hand setting our materials before my staff arrived. I would like to send a personal thank you to Kevin if you could pass along his email address. Thank you both again for your help in making yesterday’s event a success.

Everything went fantastically: The room lighting was amazing and the stage set-up and equipment operation went without a hitch. Mike and his assistant (sorry didn’t get his name) were flawless! They rolled with three last minute changes to the presentation decks without missing a beat. I wasn’t able to express my thanks to them in person but would ask that you please pass on to both of them how much I appreciated their being on site. It was great to be able to just turn over the master deck and not have to hover over A/V to make sure things were taken care of.

 And thank YOU for arranging everything and sourcing the transcription service for us! I’m looking forward to working with you all on future events. You’re fabulous to work with!

GREAT work with GD. You and Nick were dynamite in pulling this all together in a limited time frame. Ryan and I are great at winning the deal but when it comes to production and putting it all together we rely heavily on our production team and yourself to get it done. It was obvious that the GD team was more than happy with how everything went. You went above and beyond on these events and we look forward to working with you on future GD events and other opportunities that Ryan and I are working on. We appreciate all your hard work.


Team – On behalf of Tara and myself, thank you for your extraordinary effort to pull together the IT and A/V solution to host Dave’s All Hands meetings yesterday and today. Events of this magnitude require synchronizing and coordinating a thousand individual technical logistics and connections, A malfunction of a single technical detail can scupper the whole thing, at which point the medium gets in the way of the message. Nothing got scuppered this week, and in fact, the quality, clarity and professionalism of the technology enhanced Dave’s message. Our objective at the beginning of this project was to up our game with respect to using new technology to communicate with employees. This week we took a massive step forward on that front. Thank you. I am comfortable now.


Madalena & Dan provide great service as well as the support team behind them. The Octanorm set used for the main meeting room was an excellent addition to the look & feel of the event. I would certainly note that Chris & Kevin who operated the technical delivery in the main room where very professional and a treat to work with. Howard of course is as always fabulous support to all. The event was well received by delegates and a lot of positive comments. The synergy of CCR along with the new wave look and nature of the Hyatt provided a superb setting for this type of techno conference. While meeting rooms presented sight line challenges all team members tried their best to make every person part of the event. I have attached a couple of photos for your file should you wish to keep them… I look forward to working with the CCR team again.

The business of meetings and conferences has become very challenging in recent years. We have found that supplier relationships are a very important element of the meeting/conference and the bottom line. Our audiovisual supplier, CCR Solutions, has proven to be an incredible asset to the organization and our members. With an annual conference that includes plenary sessions and over 65 concurrent sessions, audiovisual service excellence is a key factor to our success. The ability of the technicians and project managers to work seamlessly with the speakers (who are members of our community) and deliver service excellence has been noted over the past few years. CCR is idea driven and has guided our speaker community to better technology solutions, presentation ideas and delivery skills at our meeting. With a long term project manager and lead technician assigned to our event, delegates and staff easily identify with them on-site. The ability of CCR to facilitate last minute solutions and “think on their feet” has provided us with recognized success for our national meeting. With a mantra that there are no problems, only challenges with solutions, CCR is an integral member of the team. We view our working relationship as a joint venture and we all benefit from the resulting successes. We would and have recommended them without hesitation.

Well, long story short – We had a great time working directly with Dave and Allan. You may recall, we actually hired a producer for many years. This year we decided to not go with her and do it ourselves. Dave and Allan went way above the call of duty! They understood our vision and executed the event with very little issue. Everyone (most importantly my bosses - VPs, CEO and senior volunteer etc...) thought it was the best event to date. We always enjoy working with the gang from CCR and hope that our relationship continues.


Love the name “Operation Save the Wifi” Dan! I just wanted to say that this is why we love CCR soooo much. You are not even the AV provider Rogers is using for this event and you saved the day! At 9pm last night, Dan was calling from Hawaii, Howard and Mark and I in Toronto, Meg and her CCR team in Houston all to save an event in Montreal! LOVE LOVE you CCR! You are the best AV co in North America!


Michel Savoie was extremely professional and helpful and responded to my requests in a very timely fashion. The performance by "Igudesman & Joo" was excellent, there were absolutely no technical problems. Even Michel enjoyed the performance! As a non-profit organization, Hope & Cope also greatly appreciates the discount, you were able to give us. We look forward to future collaborations and I would not hesitate recommending your company to colleagues for other events.
